Grounds Maintenance
Hooper services offer a wide range of award winning grounds maintenance services throughout the southwest region. We have built up an exceptional working partnership with the education authority, specifically schools and colleges, which has been ongoing since the 1980’s up to the present day. We have been and approved contractor to the Devon County Council since 1988 and also have long standing relationships with the following clients; NHS, Exeter City Council and other Local Authorities.
Grass Cutting
- Large areas (sports fields, recreational areas, parks, ect) can be easily maintained using our range of large mowing equipment.
- Our range of mid-sized mowers are designed for use on smaller sites i.e. primary schools and amenity areas where the use of large tractor mowers can have a negative effect.
- Hand propelled mowers are ideal for good quality lawned areas which require a more attractive appearance. The cuttings can be mulched or collected to create the perfect finish.
Sports Field Line Marking
We offer a premium sports field line marking service ideal for schools, colleges and sports clubs. The options available cover a complete measure and mark facility and an ongoing program designed around your individual needs i.e. weekly, monthly, prior to matches. This service covers all sports markings including, football, rugby, hockey etc.
We also provide hard service marking, which is ideal for tarmac/ concrete areas, which include various court markings, for example netball, tennis etc.
Weed Control
We offer a complete weed control service by fully qualified NPTC operatives following all relevant health and safety guidelines. This includes:
- Hard, soft and gravel oblique stoned areas
- Selective weed control – broadleaf weed in grass areas
- Fertiliser application – liquid and granular
- Control of moss and algae – reduces slip hazards on paths
We have a responsible approach to herbicide application concerning health and safety and the environment.
Commercial Contracts
Hooper services has an impressive record when it comes to supplying commercial grounds maintenance solutions. Our large client base of school, colleges and local authority properties have been maintained by us since the 1980’s. The loyalty shown by our customers over many years reflects our commitment to providing a reliable quality service and good relationships with all the people we work with.
